Our 9th convergence of the 22 Teachings Book Club features The RA Expeditions by Thor Heyerdahl.
This fascinating book is a true life high seas adventure by renowned Norwegian explorer documentarian and archeologist Thor Heyerdahl, most known for his books Kon Tiki and Aku Aku.
In his work, Heyerdahl ofen sets out to prove the connections of ancient civilizations by theorizing that distant lands could have been connected through sea travel, even on primative water crafts. He researches, sources materials, and then builds boats with the techniques of these ancient civilizations and then sets sail. In this book, he is looking to cross the Atlantic, from Morocco to the Americas.

Each week, participants should come to book club having read the assigned chapters, and then have the facilitator will lead the discussion, with everyone having an opportunity to share their thoughts.

Jessica has always been a seeker. Her journey into the metaphysical began at a young age where she started collecting crystals and working with the tarot. For 6+ years she’s been a student of 22 Teachings. She looks at reading tarot as a way to explore our human experience through hidden knowledge and a way to connect with our higher selves to receive clarification, confirmation, and the nudge required to make the changes our souls are secretly craving. A recently retired techie, she opened a tarot salon called Tarot de Baja in Todos Santos, Mexico and is doing tarot readings full time.
