Yoga for Mystics: So Below

Presented by Pamela Smith, Yoga for Mystics is designed to connect your physical self to your spiritual self. This is achieved through the five aspects of Breathwork, Kriyas, Mantras, Asanas, and Journaling. Each of these aspects will be concentrated upon for a number of minutes and together in yoga as meditation. Each session will start out slow and work into some strengthening poses. This class is appropriate for all levels. These classes can be taken singly or as a series.
This class will emphasize using mantras as we work through poses, increasing concentration and awareness of the energetic body.
All students should have:
- A Yoga Mat
- A journal and pen (required)
- Lose fitting clothing or yoga clothes
A note from the teacher Pamela Smith:
“I first came to a regular yoga practice after the birth of my second son, 17 years ago. When I realized I was having a hard time standing after playing with him on the floor, a friend recommended Bikram yoga. I loved the challenging nature of the class. Thus began my yoga journey. More recently I have been working on my 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate with The Flowstate Yoga Institute. We concentrate on bringing many different disciplines together in order to manifest more flow in our lives. I have come to find yoga to be an integral part of my morning spiritual routine. I am looking forward to bringing yoga out of my house and sharing what I have learned with others as I know I will learn as much from you as you will learn from me.”
Prepare yourself in a space where you will be free from distraction.
Have enough space that you can lay down a yoga mat.
