The Arboretum Mysticum has three sourceworks which are considered to be texts for ceremonial magicians in the Western Mysteries: The Sefer Yetzirah, the Kybalion, and the Mystical Qabalah.

Mystical Qabalah by Dion Fortune is considered by many to be the preeminent text on the Tree of Life and its magical applications. In the Spring of 2026, The Lodge will undertake a many-month long working of this book, which has been a part of the 22 Teachings curriculum since before the Lodge even existed. It is one of the most beloved of Lodge workings, and Naha will share extensive personal commentary on each chapter and lead ritual aligned with its teachings.

The early chapters lay out the philosophical system of the Qabalistic Tree of Life.

When the work reaches the specific chapters on the Sephirot, we commence a working known as the Path of the Flaming Sword – the Lightning Flash. During this portion of the work, we consecrate Tarot keys, stones and talismans. Certain incense and colors are used for each working.
