July Class Announcements

Crystal School with Naha is back and offered as a hybrid course in a 3-day intensive July 5, 6, and 7. This intensive is the result of Naha’s experience in crystal healing and includes all of the teachings of her original 6-week course – updated and refined, as well as a special initiation process by which students receive an attunement which activates them on their path towards being a crystal healer.

Magic School is a 10-week course in developing intuition and metaphysics. Developed over a decade from personal experience, this foundation course of 22 Teachings is taught by head of faculty Naha Armády to teach students how to trust their intuition, navigate life as an intuitive, and empower themselves as magical practitioners in the Western Mystery Tradition.

On July 19th, Naha teaches the ritual training Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram or LBRP which is a ceremonial magic ritual devised and used by the original order of the Golden Dawn that has become a mainstay in modern occultism. This ritual is considered by many to be a basic preliminary to any other magical work, so much that it was the only ritual, beside initiation rituals, taught to members of the Golden Dawn before they advanced to the Inner Order. This ritual is found in the opening rites of all ceremony and magical workings at 22 Teachings and the A.M. Lodge, and all students practicing at 22 Teachings or in the Lodge should take this training.

Interior Temple work is a main component of the Arboretum Mysticum and expresses the Hermetic principle “As within, so without.” This work also prepares the magician for Ritual Pathworking.

Work done in the Interior Temple may happen through the process of Astral Projection, in which the Body of Light of the Magician becomes a vehicle for consciousness. In The Adytum Ritual Training on July 21st, Naha instructs on the creation of the Light Body, the practice of Astral Travel and the Merkabah Chariot, and the building of the Interior Temple.

On July 19, 22, and 23, guest teacher Brian Cotnoir returns in-person and online to teach Memory, Magic, and the Architecture of Initiation. This 3-part course explores the role of memory and space in spiritual practice with a focus on the Neoplatonic concept of the ascent of the soul.

Rounding out the trinity of our Language for Mystics trainings, Manu Casanueva is back with the 3rd holy and magical language of the Western Mystery Tradition, Latin For Mystics a 6-part course which begins on July 25th. This course covers Latin history and pronunciation. Connecting this into teachings from the AM Lodge, the course then will explore the profound significance of five specific verses from the Shemhamphorash along with Psalms 1 & 22.

Led by Jessica Chappell on Monday, July 29th, Double Edged Sword: A Tarot Ritual for Magicians combines divination with Qabalistic ritual, inspired by Aleister Crowley’s Thoth tarot deck. This tarot spread and ritual enhance students’ magical prowess by embodying the qualities of a sword, as described by occultist William Gray. Participants will aim to cultivate traits like flexibility, sharpness, and keenness, integrating them to enhance their magical practice.
