Naha- per your urging today in the lodge I am posting the question that I emailed directly to you last night here in hopes someone needs the information as I did.

Q: I have a quick gematria question. I’m looking over the invocation of the keys for tomorrow’s lodge and if I’ve done it correctly I get 566. From there, according to our new way of working I am breaking it down to 500/60/6.

The question is: do I use the regular kaph correspondence (the wheel of fortune) as the 500 since that’s final Kaph?

A: That’s right on the gematria. Yes the correspondences are the same for regular and Final

Here’s a question I’ve always wondered: does it make any sense to perform the solar adoration with the group even when it’s actually 11pm (or 10pm depending on the time of year)?

Hi Victoria, sorry I left this unaswered for so long! It’s a great question and the idea is that you are aligning with the “center” of the Lodge, which is the Temple space from which we broadcast. It connects you to the group working and places you energetically “at the same time” as everyone, recognizing that at any moment, The Sun may be high in the sky. It is the importance of the fullness of the Sun adding to the light of our working, shedding its all-revealing light upon the work, more than the actual timezone which your physical self is currently in.
The same is true of Pathworking.
Its a new era, these are not questions that would have been addressed by magicians of old, and we have the opportunity to achieve understanding that they could not!

I am so happy to be back at Lodge. Thank you sooooo much for holding this space for us. It’s so extremely powerful and the evolution from when I previously attended has unfolded and blossomed in such an awesome way.

I have a question for you, I’m hoping you can help me with. Something new is the passcode to the interior temple. I think what we’re saying is “Avir bahir razi bira”. When I move it into Hebrew, I get “ אוויר בהיר רזי בירה”. When I translate that, I get “air bright secret citadel” or something like that! I wonder if I’ve made a big mess of this and what it really translates to!

Hi Yes, it is part of the lore! The story is that after we left HOI, and while we built the school, we had to put the Lodge on a hiatus during that period. So much was happening during that time that I didn’t have the ability to do it, or a place. (I was renting space for Middle Pillar to continue, and for the Tarot School which was in session at the time) When we were finally ready to reconverge, it had been 217 days. I knew that number was going to have a special significance, and that in the sacrifice of that time there would be something gifted to the Lodge. What it was was the secret invoking formula of the interior temple – Avir Bahir Razi Bira which translates as (through sacred) Breath (we create the) Shining Secret Temple
Each word has a value of 217. Bahir is especially significant as it is an important Qabalistic Source work, Sefer Bahir is also called the Book of Illumination. It is a light, brightness or shine which illuminates.

Morning folks,

Going through the Shem ha-Mephoresh by Aaron Leicht and noticing that the astrological and tarot correspondences for the angels / names is different than what we have been discussing. Perhaps there is something I missed in one of the pre-learning gatherings(?) Golden Dawn vs another practice ?

ie) In the book for the 28th name: Shaah – it is related to Scorpius, but in our learnings it is associated with Leo. Am I missing something?

Strangely enough I am only just noticing this difference – curious why that is showing up now.

Looking for any insights you might have to share on this.

Hi Fola, yes, there are different ways to attribute the decans to the names. We are using the older French/Martinist traditional way of beginning the names at Aries as Brandy stated above. We worked this out in some of the preliminary workings, and it was discussed in the week entitled Creation of the 72. By the time we began I felt confident in using this method, (magicians seem split down the middle) and this is not the Golden Dawn tradition which begins the names at Leo. However, the work is extracted from Exodus, a Hebrew text, so we are using the Hebraic association of Aries being the beginning, rather than the Ancient Egyptian Leo starting point. This also was confirmed through the association of the names with the 12 Zodiacal banners, which places the first 6 names with the Banner YHVH which corresponds to Aries.
With all things “correspondence” related, let us remember that systems are synthetic creations of humankind to assist us in working with and contemplating Divine and metaphysical concetps. The systems are not Divinity themselves. So we choose a path through the mysteries in order to make progress, and in the case of the Lodge, we chose the path that places the first name at Aries, thus the 28th name at Leo. See you tomo!

I appreciate the review of the history and will have to consider watching one of those previous classes (joined in after the new year so I’m sure there is alot of in-depth review I’m missing). Didn’t realize Ancient Egyptian started with Leo either.. hmmm.

Couldn’t attend class live this Saturday – lots of family moving happening right now. Hope to be there in the next couple weeks though

In the Roundtable last night, someone had asked about how others are working with the names and the projects that they are doing. I wanted to share with the group incase someone might find this useful in working with the names. I am not working with the correspondences throughout the week, I am only focusing on the letters within the name. Some of you may have done the Netivot trainings in the Lodge, I did not, so this is work strengthening my personal understanding and relationship I have with them. When we perform the Rite of the 6 Rayed Star we call the name into our being including the essences of each individual letter. At the end of the week, I review the descriptions of the letters of that particular name using Farrell’s “Shem Grimoire” and write the attributes that were applicable to my week of working with that name. It’s rather astounding to see how much the letters played a part in my week, bubbled things to the surface to be addressed, helped me through trials and tribulations, gave me strength, or just taught me lessons that needed to be learned.

I perform the same analysis with the gematria, and it too can be rather astounding to see how something stands out and lines up with the letter and experience evaluation at the end of the week.

I am in no way discrediting working with all of the attributes of each name, I just have allowed this to evolve naturally and found that for me, the attributes are less significant than the wisdom that comes with working through the letters.

I am going to post in the thread on projects about what I am planning to do at the end of the working and the lightening flash I had in the Roundtable last night.

Hello all, it’s been a while.

2 questions, as I have had to miss, then catch up on Lodges & classes in the past few months.

1) Has there been a discussion about the envelopes we received with the talisman, plants, caduceus, etc?

2) Has the Lamp made the rounds already? I listened to the ‘Heh Heh Heh’ Lodge session, and there was talk about the Lamp making it to every by the following week (yesterday).
