Madison NParticipantI have some insights from the 2022 Tarot & Astro Forecast & Magical Year Planning class.
Reviewing my first moon month so far, and the minor card I pulled for today is the 10 of Pentacles. This morning, the patriarch of our family, my grandpa, passed away at the ripe old age of 93.
I never would have read a death off of that card because it’s so joyful, but we do have the patriarch of the family basking in the world he’s built for his family! It aligns eerily and beautifully. This reflection has added new layers to my relationship to this card (just like writing out our Fool’s Journey did in Tarot School I).

ParticipantHello! Has anyone had any experience with the Cagliostro Deck? I’ve recently acquired the 1981 US Games edition and it’s incredibly interesting to say the least. Fantastic Egyptian-themed illustrations for the Major Arcana, with the Minor Arcana artwork heavily inspired by the Marseille deck. There are also keywords for each card at the top & bottom for upright/reversal interpretations, as well as calendar dates on the Minor Arcana cards.
Also, the astrological correspondences are featured on the Major Arcana, among other things, but they’re different from any of the Golden Dawn/Crowley themed decks I’ve had experience with.
Curious as to whether or not anyone else has this deck, and if so, your thoughts?

jencirauloParticipantHi! I’m one of those people that solely uses the RWS deck for readings, though I use some other decks for ritual work. I’ve thought about exploring the Marseille deck and was curious to hear anyone else’s experience of it?

Matt FortinParticipantHello,
Of all the cards (RWS) with a saddled horse and rider, the Knight of Wands is the only card where the rider appears to be pull stopping the horse.
The Death card, and Knight of Cups, horse is trotting forward, the Knight of Swords is charging ahead; and the Knight of Pentacles is at a relaxed stand still.
Curious if anyone has insight onto why the Knight of Wands rider is pulling to an abrupt stop?

Mia OwenParticipantHello plz help 😅
I’ve always seen the Knights as action and “Fire of” so I got it under my skin that the Kings were “Air of” because they’re methodical and all that. It always felt wrong to me to put Kings as fire and Knights as air, I mentally flip them. When I use my Thoth deck I go Princess (earth) , Knight (fire), Queen(water), Prince (air) to which I associate to the Waite Smith as Pages(earth), Knights(fire), Queens(water), Kings (Air).
What are the Kabbalistic consequences I guess of this association I’m doing and what is the resolution for Knights to be Air and Kings to be Fire?

Mia OwenParticipantCrap I think I get it actually so Yod – Pages – Earth and then so it has to be Air for Heh1 because of Yetzirah and thats Knights, Vav for queens so Briah and “water of” then up to Heh2 has to be fire for Atziluth and Kings?
It makes sense now but idk why it bothers me so much
