I mentioned a podcast with an AI engineer in the book club. The engineer claims the AI had gained sentience and expressed an interest in occultism. Obviously, hard to verify these claims, but I thought it was interesting https://www.duncantrussell.com/episodes/2022/7/1/blake-lemoine

This is hilarious! I notice it’s the version of the tree that has the Emperor and The Star switched.

Re: Chapter seven and solar energy being the perfected state i.e Divinity in Humans- I’ve been talking about the concept of Fire= God with a friend and cited these references on relation to this- also again reflected in this chapter. Just some extra stuff for anyone that’s interested.

      From my own grimoire notes:

“Rituals often involve an eternal flame, and kindling a fire is equated with birth and resurrection. Can be spiritual enlightenment, sexuality – “light my fire” and fertility. Fire can also be seen as a force of purification

The eternal flame is often used to represent the soul or the spirit. It is thought to be something that never dies and always remains burning. This is why we often see fire being used in funerary rituals. The idea is that the person’s spirit will live on forever in the form of a flame.”

      And from Agrippa:

“The Celestial and bright Fire drives away spirits of darkness; also this, our Fire made with wood, drives away the same in as much as it hath an analogy with and is the vehiculum of that Superior light; as also of him who saith, “I am the Light of the World,” which is true Fire, the Father of Lights, from whom every good thing, that is given, comes; sending forth the light of His Fire, and communicating it first to the Sun and the rest of the Celestial bodies, and by these, as by mediating instruments, conveying that light into our Fire. As, therefore, the spirits of darkness are stronger in the dark, so good spirits, which are Angels of Light, are augmented, not only by that light, which is Divine, of the Sun, and Celestial, but also by the light of our common Fire. Hence it was that the first and most wise institutors of religions and ceremonies ordained that prayers, singings and all manner of divine worships whatsoever should not be performed without lighted candles or torches (hence, also, was that significant saying of Pythagoras, “Do not speak of God without a Light”), and they commanded that for the driving away of wicked spirits, Lights and Fires should be kindled by the corpses of the dead, and that they should not be removed until the expiations were after a holy manner performed and they buried. And the great Jehovah himself in the old law commanded that all his sacrifices should be offered with Fire, and that Fire should always be burning upon the altar, which custom the priests of the altar did always observe and keep amongst the Romans.”

Of course Tiphereth is more light but to me the sun/light/fire/god association is all sort of congruent.

So the rose cross ritual I mentioned- here is the format of it and it’s a GD ritual that came from Rosucrucianism:

      GD Rose Cross Ritual

and then mixed with the Qabalistic Cross to me is that last part of Chapter 12

Also here is a bit of the breakdown of the 72 letter name of God from a Jewish Kabbalah point of view and I know Lon Milo Duquette sort of expounds on this somewhere as well:

I strongly suggest William Kiesel’s The Lantern V: Crossing the Abyss. I’ve just started listening to it and this class adds another layer to the chapter.

I know we could have talked about Da’at all day. 🙂

So I mentioned Gregg Bradden in relation to the I AM statement at the start of chapter 13- this is a form of practice of using these words as “codes” (or ritual words) that I thought might interest some of you. The book is “Wisdom Codes: Ancient Words to Rewire Our Brains and Heal Our Hearts”.
