Hi everyone,
After our gathering tonight I logged onto The Sword and Rose website that Naha had mentioned for incense. She said she uses a scent called, “Tetragrammaton,” which I was interested in, but while on the site I also noticed there was one called, “Tree of Life.” Kind of perfect, no?
I know myself well enough to admit I won’t be able to pick up the different scents for each week. I also know that scent is very important and I want to be intentional and diligent about it. I am happy to know the correspondences, but I think having one specific incense that I will specifically and only burn for pathworking is much more my speed. Finding a variety specifically Tree related sparked a little joy in this ol’ heart so I picked some up. If I love it, I’ll be using this for all 33 paths.

Thank you for sharing this link with us Jenn. I completely relate. My schedule is pretty busy and I’ve already been thinking about the “what ifs” with forgetting to pick something up for one of the Paths.

Hello Jenn! Now you mention the place, I have very fond memories of that place, and I would like to share a my story with it: I have only been there once, while visiting San Francisco circa 2010 and on that occasion I got three incenses (I believe they were Udjat, Ma’at and Tetragrammaton). Those are by far the best incenses I have ever used, specially the Tetragrammaton one. At that time a very gracious lady that attended the shop told me how the incenses were all ritually prepared and consecrated by one of the shop owners. I basically spent the whole evening in the shop and talking about Tarot and other occult subjects with the lady whenever she was available to talk (she was also an experienced Tarot reader).
So I came back and started working with the incense, at that time I also started a small group to perform ceremonial magick and the incenses helped us a LOT, they can change the energy of a room instantly, very powerful stuff. It was so good we start to treasure it, using it for special occasions like solstice or equinox ceremonies. Eventually we ran out, and I called the store to ask if they could send me more (this was january 2014) and to my surprise they told me this terrible story that Randy, one of the owners of the store and the one that prepared the incenses had died in horrible fire in his house. I was very sad and thought that was the end of it.
So, fast forward 7 years and here we are in the Ritual training class with Naha and she mentions the Sword & Rose Incense. I was about to bite my tongue, almost asked “Didn’t the place shut down after the fire incident?” but I contained myself and now I discovered this incredible second part of the story: Patrick, the other owner of the store, was asked by his partner to learn to make the incenses shortly before his death, Randy told him about a vision he’s been having and it seems he knew his time as an incarnate being was about to end. Four days later he died in the fire, and in his room (where the fire started) was the box with the recipes. Patrick salvaged what he could, but the remains were either burned or soaked and very difficult to read, but then Patrick founded a clue that inspired him, took his tarot cards and started scrying to complete the recipes. The information flowed easily and he rescued all the marvelous incenses, so now we can have the privilege of using them again in our work.
Well thats the story, and I cannot but marvel at all the little details that makes me think… This is the right time! Even the powerful incense is here to help me!

Wow Othon, I am so glad you shared this! While I knew that Patrick was carrying on the tradition of David I had always heard back in the day that Randy was the “real wizard” behind the blends and I did not know anything about how it was that Patrick divined for the recipes or the foreknowledge that Randy had before he passed. What a pair of incredible individuals. (And the others at the shop as you said).
I first experienced their wares when one of my teachers brought me their rose oil in the early 2000’s, and when I was finally able to visit the place a bit later I picked up some more oils and the Ganesh incense. I completely know what you mean about treasuring it, I did the same as I would collect it from there from time to time, I have the tiniest little bit of Coptos left. I remember their Shekinah oil was amazing too.. I’ve never found anything else like it. I don’t think that I had any of their incense that Patrick would have made until the recently acquired Tetragrammaton and I wondered if it would be as I remembered, and sure enough, the vibration and scent and magic were just as high. I am delighted and it all makes so much more sense now knowing what you shared.
Could imagine this Ganesh could be good for pathworking! -

32nd Path of Tav – Incense: Sobek
9th Path – Temple of Yesod – Incense: Diana
31st Path of Shin – Incense: Shekinah or Anubis

“we do have incenses that are for the different paths/spheres and are created for those spaces. If you let us know which ones you are working with, we would be able to point you in the right direction of which incense to get for each one. Alternatively we have our Tree of Life incense, which when burned will help you connect to any path and any sphere you happen to be working with/in at the time.”I share this for anyone who would like to use these great incenses.

Hi Othon,
I ordered their Tree of Life incense for the entirety of the pathworking and I must say, it smells fantastic. Clearly the name is a bit “on the nose”, but I burned it a couple of nights ago and I think it’s going to be perfect.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Sidenote: I ordered it on a Wednesday night and it arrived Friday. Incredible turnaround.

I am combing all the esoteric and herbalists stores in my area and I cannot find Dittany of Crete anywhere 🙁 I am going to ask Naha for another scent option I could use for the Earth Temple because time is running away and I cannot find it in any presentation.

Oak Moss is a great choice for Malkhut.
Imagine something very earthy. Like fresh soil.

Fellow path workers: so thrilled for our journey. My new crystal from the school and other beautiful items arrived today- thank you Naha. I just programmed the new lemurian and the top side was warm to the touch by the end despite having no direct contact.
And as an old SF resident having us all connect to the energy of the sword and the rose makes me feel my own connecting points united and ready for healing.

I’m late in posting my experience with Malkut – I did it a few days after you all! But I noticed that I had a really hard time picturing 10 walls, the 10 candles, the 10×10 checkered floor.
I found that interesting.

I see the checkerboard floor being a platform, I take a step or two up to it.
It was hard for me at first to see the 10 trees in the 10 corners. I remember thinking I needed to identify each one individually, and needed to let go so I didn’t “miss the forest for the trees!” -

My experience with Tav was….terrifying and intense- though having it begin and end with Sandalphon was extremely comforting. I had a lot of frightening imagery, both imagined and from ‘real life’, and feelings of the pain of death and rebirth and decay and grief and loss, and then all the feelings that are in my shadow, mainly fear. And a knowing that I had walked that path before. A big message for me was that time isn’t what I think it is; AND I have to use it wisely, and create my own experience of it through self discipline and taking responsibility. I will continue to be processing this for some time I think.

I’ve been experiencing some pretty intense physical purging symptoms since Tav — lots of aches and fatigue and migraines. I feel my body is my main divination tool because I’ve had a lot of physical reactions to the Shem Working as well. Has anyone else been experiencing this after Tav?

Jen and Alex thank you for sharing. Yes this one puts the Work in Pathwork right?
To Jen – I also had really horrific imagery but also it was very different than 3 years ago. At one point I was swimming through inky dark sludge rather than walking. I definitely confronted some things and it was interesting the message that the form is not the source of the fear, just its manifestation.
To Alex – I agree that mental and emotional processing does come out in the body. I started going to infrared sauna every week last month and it has helped me so much because I feel I am purging a lot through both rituals. Everything is still in the “stirring up” phase though. The moments of clarity are getting clearer!

Wow. I didn’t see anything other than heavy, silent, blackness – even the Watcher was just formless black. But I felt every bit of it in my chest, my arms, my throat- my muscles were so tight and I shivered too.
There was a point where my guide looked me in the eyes and then led me through a cycle of never-ending IAO in warm gold – I just kept traveling through the letters like a tube, and there was no fear now.
It was amazingggg
But I am noticing an after effect – a lot of emotions suppressed or forgotten are surfacing here and there. I’m interested to see what the next weeks will feel like.xo sab

Also- I was trying to remember or give a reference to what I was seeing at the end when we were walking the indigo blue line and I was thinking of how time is a construct, it was like this episode of the Simpsons which is based on Tron; instead of green lines they were a big grid, in a globe shape, of indigo blue
The Simpsons is a wealth of esoteric knowledge! 😉

Thank you for your shares. I wasn’t able to participate on the night of the Pathworking due to work, but I did it the following night and let me tell you, the egregore is strong. From the moment I stepped onto the path I could feel a presence looming (turned out to be the watcher) and almost immediately, I was head to toe in black tar-like sludge that I had to struggle through, (somehow my face was protected, like it had an energetic shield allowing space for me to still breathe), with my guide, just to get to the Saturn checkpoint.
There was a bunch of other stuff as well, but …. I’m hopping on here to ask if anyone might be interested in doing a little coffee / tea / lunch meet up in the LA area (I wish everyone from everywhere could join) on the weeks between workings? I’ve had a number of friends who are also doing the Pathworking reach out to me on social media, but I also know that isn’t everyone’s bag, so I thought I might suggest a Pathworker’s coffee klatch of sorts. Or if it’s more comfortable we could even casually meet up on our own (so we don’t have to block up Naha’s already packed schedule) on Zoom or some other video chat / conference service? It might be nice for us to have a way to informally share our thoughts / experiences face to face (even if it’s remotely).

So many visual things came up for me this time. Taking Developing Intuition during this portion of Pathworking has been helpful.
In the gardens, there were massive Amethyst & Moonstone trees where the trunks & leaves were made of the stones. They made tinkling, windchime sounds. The statuary each had round pools at their feet which reflected the Moon (moon-shaped pools.) Excited to revisit this place over & over, and to stretch out/break in my new loafer slippers.

I didn’t think I’d felt anything because I found myself trying too hard to remember or see the “right” things. So I felt like I missed the mark, but returning back to Malkut and feeling the difference in vibrations was really powerful. And also, crying as I integrated into my body – I realized the work probably happened on a deeper subconscious level!
