I am curious for tonight and for the future. Are we supposed to have our eyes closed during the whole astral experience, that we should never open our eyes? Or can this experience be done like the LBRP and our eyes can be open at times?

Yes, once you are seated and begin the four-fold breath, you should have your eyes closed as you want to block out any distractions. If you are able to hold the vision clearly in your minds eye and still open your eyes that would be an advanced move!
Generally you keep your eyes closed until coming fully back in your body in the final round of the 4 fold breath. This allows the information to fully merge in your subconscious. But do what you need to do, feel free to explore if there is a better way for you to have the astral vision.

I always find that it is easier to stay fully present if I sit forward on my chair, not resting back but sitting up fully.

The first pathworking of Shin encouraged me not to suppress force even anger, and emotion but to hone, practice and direct energy effectively. It was intense and I wouldn’t say fun. Last evening was so joyful, I even got a chuckle and hug from Sandophal wings and arms! I never got chummy with the angels before. Bees are my new favorite form of travel.

I’m replying to myself after some days of reflection..since the first time we did pathworking several years ago I’ve had to really confront all the manifestations of judgment and of justice. I was pretty uninformed and unprepared for pathworking the first timec- is anybody?- Nahas Developing intuition class teachings on psychic protection were the only reassurance I had during some weird shit I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t be physically extinguished by these exercises but the mutual uncertainty of others walking assured me at least we’d go together… 😉 Anyway. I did a lot of “work” over the years and I remembered why the angel laughed this week. I clumsily put out one of the 3 candles as we replaced the shin. For a second my terror of judgment came back and that’s when the angel chuckled at me. You can’t unlight primordial fire silly. But bless your heart…sometimes the 36th time is the charm

It’s so valuable for you to share the differences of the two experiences, both for my perspective and I’m sure to those who are here for the first round. Great reflection.

Last night during Shin, Osiris appeared to me! I was also visited by several animal totems including Zebra, Squirrel, Ladybug, and Capybara.

After every pathworking I try to make myself a pretty decent meal. I tend to be very hungry and thirsty when we’re done. When we did the path of Shin, as I was cooking I had a song stuck in my head. That isn’t uncommon, songs regularly stick in my head. I realized I also had a song in my head after the paths of Tav and the Temple of Yesod. Right then it became clear that the songs were associated to the paths and I needed to make a pathworking playlist. One song per path. In case anyone is interested in following along, here’s the link. First four paths, in order.

Hi everyone, I had a few prompts to mention for you to include in your writing on Resh

What was the gift you made for the Sylphs and how did they receive it?
What is the nature of movement and stillness that the Sun teaches?
What is the fear of the light?
Who did you meet upon the cultivated side?
Who did you meet on the wild side?
      What surprised you?
What were your expectations in the desolate part of the Path?
      Who or what saved you?
What did you notice about the Temple of Malkhut that you never saw or thought of before?

I thought I would share the part of ‘ Who or what saved you?’. I had a guide throughout the journey. My guide was kind of like the cowardly lion, we had a great time together. And now that I think of it, I gifted the sylphs a sacred heart.
When I was lifted from the abyss, I had the thought ‘Adam Kadmon’. And my guide morphed into the male version of me. So I saved myself. Or the divine masculine in me, saved me. And given the solar associations, makes lots of sense.

Jen, I saved myself too! It developed entirely differently, but when all was said and done, it was in fact, me who saved me (again, she said under her breath, haha).

Another big takeaway I had on the path of Resh was that sometimes the wild and untamed is in fact, far less chaotic than that which is curated, manicured, or well-maintained. Order does not equal peace. Serenity is often found in the wild. The wild side of the path was quiet, and filled with gentle creatures and objects interested but not demanding to commune. The well-maintained side of the path was filled with activity, bustling, chaos borne of curiosity.

The curiosity level was the same on both sides, one was warm and inviting, the other was … put upon and chaos ensued. Good natured chaos, but chaos nevertheless. Lessons everywhere.

I am very excited for Hod.

Hi all. During the Temple of Hod working I had a physical sensation of trying to escape my own body. Which has continued here and there. It’s hard to keep still for necessary ritual… So I’m thinking a hard integration of something that opened in the Resh pathworking . …Ararita 🙏🏼
