Magic Tools is a focused series of workshops on the symbolism, construction and consecration of specific magical tools with each tool given a hands-on deep dive as guided by William’s decades of experience in ceremonial magic. In some cases will include the actual fabrication process.
An Introduction to Theurgic Implements
This introduction is the prelude and prerhese workshops. Ceremonial magic utilizes a diverse array of tools to assist the practitioner in the Great Work. The rites, prayers, meditations and operations of magical art are augmented by the use of consecrated tools made for the direct purpose of high magic. This class brings these traditional implements into focus by presenting the history and folklore of the various forms they take and outlining their symbolism and use in contemporary ritual magic. This overview provides orientation for those navigating the path of the magician by explaining the purpose and design of the temple equipment at their disposal.
The Robe
One of our most highly-requested trainings has arrived, and together students will craft their ceremonial robe.
The robe has become one of the archetypal symbols of the magician. Predominantly black and often with a hood, robes also may express specific aspects of the path, ceremonial utility, fraternal station or devotion to a deity. In this first hands-on workshop in the series on Magic Tools, William will share the historical, practical and ritual use of the robe in ritual magic.
Guidance will be provided through the process of making the robes together as group so that by the end of the workshop each participant will have a completed garment for ritual use.

The Disk
The labors of the Great Work are aided admirably by the use of magical tools. In this segment of the Magic Tools Series the student will learn about the symbolism, practices and construction of the Disk, or Pantacle. Providing a workshop environment, William will discuss the techniques of the Disk and guide students through the symbolism, process of its design, painting and theurgic ritual use in Hermetic Qabalah.
The first session will include techniques for design, and the beginning of the process. During the interim week, students will need to sand their disks on their own, and bring them back for the second part.
