The Arboretum Mysticum has just celebrated its 2 year anniversary. A self-initiatory Hermetic Lodge, the AM is open to all paths and welcomes aspiring arborists to the Temple for Qabalistic magical practice through ritual, numerology, tarot discussion, astrology, alchemical transmutation, theurgy, astral meditation, and fellowship. #treeoflife #amlodge #pathworking #qabalah #22teachings For quite some time, I knew that it was important for us to find a new space for teaching. But it didn't become real until the rains came and the roof opened up, and literally flushed us out of the room. As I've learned to do ever since my commitments to my Higher Power - to build with me and do with me as Thou wilt, I've followed the signs and listened to the urgings and omens of the Universe, and this time, Saturn said "it's Time..." and the Hermit said "...to strike out on your own". And so I made the terrifying decision to leave my comfortable, amazing and established job at House of Intuition. And to establish 22 Teachings as its own entity and to grow it into the magical institution that I am capable of creating with the support of my amazing students. Everyday is strange as I vacillate between "what the hell was I thinking"? And "I know 100% that this is right". The cards today don't lie. The Tower, 10 of Wands, six of Cups. I put absolute faith in the outcome. Right now, I'm right between the Tower and the Ten of Wands. You know I'm a gambler, and this is the biggest gamble I've ever made. Im risking everything. Tonight at the Arboretum Mysticum, we painted the tattva cards, Sanskrit sacred symbols for a technique called Scrying in the Spirit Vision. These were constructed upon tarot cards which were drawn as a divinatory tool to see what archetypes and aspects of the self these elements could be surmounted upon.
