For the first installment of Branches in 2026, join faculty principles William Kiesel and Naha Armady as they present “The Magical Current 22” and explore the occult significance of this number.
Including its relationship to the tree, language, and the Tarot, plus its appearance and meaning beyond these aspects, and as always there will be plenty of lore about the school and why it is named 22 Teachings.
Naha will share some personal history of connection to this number that has never been told, and the enigmatic document “the Twenty-two laws of Hermes” and William will share on the resonance of numbers, the concept of a magical current, and some of the interesting connections to the number 22 in occult traditions across history.

The branches of the Qabalistic Tree of Life intertwine yet each are magical and academic fields of study and practice.
The four primary disciplines of 22 Teachings include Theurgy, Alchemy, Astrology and Tarot.
In turn, these are assigned to the four primary elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
Presented live at the holy and historical Besant Lodge on Beachwood Drive in Hollywood.
No experience is necessary, all sincere seekers are welcome.
