The Pentagram is a symbol popular to all who are aware of the occult, yet it is also misunderstood, controversial or feared. Our Branches of the Tree of Life series dives into discussion of the Pentagram, its symbolism and uses. Naha and William will explore the angles of iconic figure across branches of philosophy, culture and of course, ritual magic.

From its uses by the Pythagoreans, the unique aspects of its geometry, to its use in elemental banishing and invoking, talismans and amulets, its association to Gevurah/Mars, the reverse pentagram of Eliphas Levi, its use in modern iconography in fashion to music and more.

As always, Naha and William will share their own personal stories about their experiences with the pentagram.

The branches of the Qabalistic Tree of Life intertwine yet each are magical and academic fields of study and practice.
The four primary disciplines of 22 Teachings include Theurgy, Alchemy, Astrology and Tarot.
In turn, these are assigned to the four primary elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
Presented live at the holy and historical Besant Lodge on Beachwood Drive in Hollywood.
No experience is necessary, all sincere seekers are welcome.
