The 8 of Swords is such an interesting card for those who are conscious magicians, because while it looks like a blockage, it actually conveys that the block is an illusion, and that you can use your mental power to break the illusion. Thus, our ritual is called the Illusion Destroyer, and will work with the astrological alignment of Jupiter in Gemini, which goes direct on this date.

Jupiter in Gemini is one of the classical planetary transits assigned to the decan wheel, upon which MacGregor Mathers of the Golden Dawn placed the Minor Arcana Keys of the Tarot.

It corresponds to the 8 of Swords. This card is called Lord of Shortened Force.

Breaking the Blocks of Illusion and maximizing the potential of this energy is a goal of this working presented in Qabalistic High Magic.

All levels of sincere practitioners are welcome to attend and follow along with rituals that they are familiar with. The energy of all rituals will be available to all present. Some rites will also be performed as call and response.
