In Ancient Egypt, Seshat like her father Thoth, was a scribe. It was also she who laid the foundations of the temples, assuring them to be aligned correctly with their heavenly counterparts in the firmament.

As such, though there is no temple built to Seshat, it is said that she is a part of every temple.

The ritual of Stretching of the Cord is based on the ancient rites of Seshat.

The price of attendance at the AM Lodge is $15, but it is offered by a sliding scale so that those who do not have the financial means may still participate.
Those who can contribute more than $15 serve as patrons of the light and ensure the viability of the Lodge for years to come.
