22 Teachings Master Series: Surrealism as Alchemical Magickal Practice
Teacher: Brian Cotnoir
Length: 2 hrs
Recorded March 2021
Tonight’s illustrated talk takes a look at surrealism’s interest in, and connection with alchemy. Through the imagery and actions of both the surrealists and the alchemists we will explore their world-view and the role of dream, vision, and creating common to both. With this understanding we will then discuss surrealism as an alchemical, magickal/theurgic practice.
There will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion as this is where things get interesting.
