The Wheel: A Tarot Ritual for Magicians combines divination with Qabalistic ritual, drawing upon the elemental power of Earth and the mysteries of the pentacle. Inspired by the writings of S. L. MacGregor Mathers and Aleister Crowley, this working reimagines the tarot spread as both a ritual act and a magical engine of change.

Through a guided ritual, a unique divination board, and a custom tarot spread, students will engage with the archetype of the Wheel cyclical, grounding, and ever-turning. The Wheel reveals the mechanisms that keep the magician bound to repetition, as well as the openings through which new patterns may emerge. When chance and choice intersect, fresh directives for the Work unfold.

Led by Jessica Chappell, this ritual is crafted for those with the magician’s mindset: reverence for esoteric knowledge, devotion to practice, and the will to co-create with the cycles of the All. Rooted in the Golden Dawn tradition and the living egregore of the 22 Teachings curriculum, The Wheel provides a framework to align with the grounding power of Earth and the inevitability of change.

  • a journal or grimoire and something to write with
  • 2 pieces of cardboard or thick cardstock, at least 8.5″ in diameter
  • scissors
