Argentine artist Xul Solar explored many avenues of expression, spanning architecture, visual art, divinatory practice, astrology and music. Each of these disciplines led him toward an esoteric and universal language, which he called, Neo-Creole.

In this installment of “Occult Artists and their Works”, William Kiesel presents a visual talk outlining Xul Solar’s work, some of his friends and influences and his intriguing inventions. Mostly unknown in the US, Solar’s work on Tarot is currently part of the Tarot exhibition in New York at the Morgan Library.

William Kiesel has walked the path of esotericism for over 30 years.
