So I wasn’t really feeling too inspired to create something at the beginning of the work and then I set my sights on creating a mala for the 72 names (which I still intend to do), but I was hit with inspiration in the midst of the roundtable last night. I have been using the same incense each week that I purchased through the school and have not been emptying the ashes. I intended to have the ashes made into a necklace similar to the memorial necklaces people wear, which I may still do, but then I got struck with a new idea last night. I am going to create a tarot deck specifically for the Shem working using the ashes and the same method we used on the tattva cards. I need to figure out the logistics since there are 78 cards and only 72 names, and two names share a minor card, but that is what came through last night. I imagine I will include the Name, Sigil, Psalm, and I’m not sure what else, perhaps the planetary, zodiacal, minor card, and Elder attributes. Something to think about.

In the Roundtable last night, someone had asked about how others are working with the names and the projects that they are doing. I wanted to share with the group incase someone might find this useful in working with the names. I am not working with the correspondences throughout the week, I am only focusing on the letters within the name. Some of you may have done the Netivot trainings in the Lodge, I did not, so this is work strengthening my personal understanding and relationship I have with them. When we perform the Rite of the 6 Rayed Star we call the name into our being including the essences of each individual letter. At the end of the week, I review the descriptions of the letters of that particular name using Farrell’s “Shem Grimoire” and write the attributes that were applicable to my week of working with that name. It’s rather astounding to see how much the letters played a part in my week, bubbled things to the surface to be addressed, helped me through trials and tribulations, gave me strength, or just taught me lessons that needed to be learned.
I perform the same analysis with the gematria, and it too can be rather astounding to see how something stands out and lines up with the letter and experience evaluation at the end of the week.
I am in no way discrediting working with all of the attributes of each name, I just have allowed this to evolve naturally and found that for me, the attributes are less significant than the wisdom that comes with working through the letters.
I am going to post in the thread on projects about what I am planning to do at the end of the working and the lightening flash I had in the Roundtable last night.

If you were in the Roundtable tonight then you’ll probably recall my asking for more information on the Elders, and then more specifically about their physical appearance as I was not expecting one of them to appear the way that they did in the IT. Naha said to look at Godwin’s Cabalistic Encyclopedia for correspondences but had nothing on the physical descriptions. Just finished the last bit of reading I had for this evening and decided to look up the Tribe of Israel associated with Aries, Gad. The picture that showed up when I hit enter has the same exact appearance including the yellow, orange and black garment he was wearing. 5th image on the webpage is what populated.

If you have something show up in IT and want to explore the symbolism around it (I’ve been doing this a lot lately), I have a ton of books on symbolism and would be happy to look it up and send you pictures of the text from various books. I don’t need to know the context in which it presented itself, just the “thing”. Symbolism research is something I’m deeply connected to so please don’t hesitate to let me know what you are looking for!

I don’t know about anyone else, but I really have not had some profound or deep messages or even connection to the work the last few weeks despite the profundity of things that occurred during the prep phase the last few months of the year. I have not even inspired to create anything. However, just within the last couple of days since our time in the Lodge, it is as if the lantern was truly lit. So if you have been feeling like I have been with not having the profound insights you expected (yes expectation bit me in the ass), then this message is for you; don’t be discouraged.
Here’s my new groove at the moment that has helped me experience things in a different way: After the Lodge, I have been going down the gematria rabbit hole. Now I’m also reading about the letters in the SHEM grim by Farrell, and then looking at the associated paths in Greer’s Paths of Wisdom. When I read I’m not just reading meanings, I’m looking at the association of the gematria, letter and path within the context of the meaning of the psalm and the things going on in my life as we speak. What can this psalm within these numbers, letters and intelligences teach me about myself, Source, and the blending of the two.

Hello everyone, my name is Brandy. I live on the outskirts of Austin, TX and was lucky enough to find 22 Teachings in Marchish 2020 when the world went online. I’ve learned so much since then and feel like it is the right time to undertake this working.
