(Can’t get the photo to load.)
King of Pentacles, Hierophant, King of Swords

This felt like an apt reading for the final homework. It feels like a bookend to my experience in the class. They are representative of my (earth) Moon & (air) Sun + rising signs.

It really feels like an answer about my note written at the beginning of the class about “where I am now & what do I want to shift this year”. The Hierophant brought them together (as the Nail) to bring them to me.

Hello all, it’s been a while.

2 questions, as I have had to miss, then catch up on Lodges & classes in the past few months.

      1) Has there been a discussion about the envelopes we received with the talisman, plants, caduceus, etc?

      2) Has the Lamp made the rounds already? I listened to the ‘Heh Heh Heh’ Lodge session, and there was talk about the Lamp making it to every by the following week (yesterday).

So many visual things came up for me this time. Taking Developing Intuition during this portion of Pathworking has been helpful.

In the gardens, there were massive Amethyst & Moonstone trees where the trunks & leaves were made of the stones. They made tinkling, windchime sounds. The statuary each had round pools at their feet which reflected the Moon (moon-shaped pools.) Excited to revisit this place over & over, and to stretch out/break in my new loafer slippers.

I had known about Lintels from Art History classes. Lintels were ornately decorated to draw attention & eyes upwards toward the divine (if one was entering a temple or house of worship.) Some lintels were set lower or made deep so petitioners had to physically duck under and be humbled for entry.

If it was affordable or accessible, families would place prayers, wards, or their family crests/mottoes/family Gods on the entry lintels. Guests to the home would take notice upon entry and/or exit.

I also thought about the old practice of a groom carrying the bride across/through the threshold.

      Hello friends!

I’m Juli — originally from the East coast, now in the CA Bay area. From one ocean to the other.

I’m excited to bring things from theory to practice. I’m an avid reader & lifelong learner (I always am teaching myself some skill or craft), and I read about Pathworking early on in my journey. I’m glad to be able to finally take these first steps with a group who seem just as eager as me to get this show on the road, as it were.

Also excited to see what opportunities, techniques, changes, & ideas arise for me and for all of the Pathworkers.

Something that I noticed while cross-referencing — on set/week #14 of the Exodus handout it is “Mem Bet Heh”, but on the 72 Names Spelled Out handout, that set is “Mem Bet Tav”. The Exodus handout is the correct one, right?

Sturdy pine needles, for sure. That made me think of drawing the sigils or letters on seeds or nut shells to plant & feed to birds or critters.

Robin, I’m also considering embroidery or fiber work. Still thinking about how it could be put out into the world, maybe embroidering into natural cloths, leaves, etc., and leaving them to be carried away or picked up.

Further meditation is needed, as always.
