Book Club presents: The Mystery of the Cathedrals by Fulcanelli

Our 13th convergence of the 22 Teachings Book Club features a work by the mysterious figure, Fulcanelli, known as “The Last Alchemist”. He is associated with the creation of the Philosopher’s Stone and the Elixir of Life, granting immortality. His identity remains debated, but he was a French alchemist and esoteric author.

This hermetic book reveals ancient knowledge about alchemy and the Great Work. It was published by his students after his mysterious disappearance in 1926.

Fulcanelli emphasized that the Great Work of alchemy is about personal transformation rather than just creating gold. He explored the symbolism of Gothic cathedrals and medieval castles in his works, decoding their occult meanings.

This discussion will be facilitated by professional Tarot Reader, ceremonial magician, and long-time student of 22 Teachings Jessica Chappell of Tarot de Baja.

Jessica will reach out to everyone signed up a few days in advance of week 1 to check in.

About:
Jessica has always been a seeker. Her journey into the metaphysical began at a young age where she started collecting crystals and working with the tarot. For 6+ years she’s been a student of 22 Teachings. She looks at reading tarot as a way to explore our human experience through hidden knowledge and a way to connect with our higher selves to receive clarification, confirmation, and the nudge required to make the changes our souls are secretly craving. A recently retired techie, she opened a tarot salon called Tarot de Baja in Todos Santos, Mexico and is doing tarot readings full time.
